Hundreds and Thousands

Well, my little experiment didn't really work out like I'd hoped, but I didn't take any other photos today so this is the best of it.

I read how to do this in a magazine and then didn't do it until I got the urge today - by which time I'd forgotten the finer points. I must look that article out again and try it properly next time.

For those who want to know: I put the hundreds and thousands in a glass bowl then put the clear lid of a CD case over the top and dripped small drops of water onto it. That much I could remember from the instructions but I couldn't remember any lens or exposure or lighting details so I just fudged it.
