The day before the work begins!

All go today! As ever!!!

Up at the house by lunchtime. Builder came to collect keys as work starts tomorrow! At last! :-))

Bruv-in-law K arrived in his mid life crisis car :-)) Robin Hood Sports car (he might be selling it soon if anyone is interested) to finish fitting the old kitchen units in the garage.

Meanwhile Ele & I made lunch with Ele managing to set a tea towel on fire and me unable to do anything but laugh hysterically at her dawning realisation that the strange yellow things coming from the tea towel were flames rushing to her rescue! :D Cup of tea and some biccies and all was fine again.

Agnes, Adrian and Emily arrived and we set about making some more decisions, this time on carpets for Alan's bedroom, the study and two bedrooms....oh and the flooring for Alan's wet floor shower room.

Unfortunately some previously made decisions were unmade (namely the curtain material Id chosen for the lounge curtains) so back to the drawing board with that! Oh and we have moved the dining room table to the opposite end of the dining room where it was originally! and are much happier with it! It just didn't feel right where it was.

Just going over my list of things that need done / phone calls that need made / decisions that need deciding over the next 7 days and it makes me want to go to sleep till Christmas!

Apart from that it's back to school and work tomorrow. Hoping that being back in my usual routine will mean I can have some proper blip time and catch up with you all!!

EEK! Just seen the time! 11.45 and I am up just after 6am!!
