QE2

I'm not sure I would necessarily recommend writing blog posts of over 5,500 words in length - but that's what I did today, live-blogging the London Book Fair's Digital Minds conference over on Publishing Talk.

I wouldn't always recommend starting work at dawn on a Sunday either, but it felt more social than work, and it was great to catch up with digi-publishing pals old and new. The cabaret-style seating arrangement also meant we could sit on a tech'd-up top table surrounded by our laptops, gadgets and cables. How civilized.

And who wouldn't want to climb aboard the QE2 on a sunny April day? Even if it is the Conference Centre rather than the cruise ship.
