Goodbye Mallorca

We flew back from Mallorca today and we had one final stop on the beach before heading onto the airport. It was a miserable day of storm clouds and rain and were delayed taking off. Though when we were about 10 mins into the flight and going through the clouds the right engine, which was roughly 2 feet away from me got struck by lightning! There was a huge bang and the plane shuddered and a huge blinding flash of light. It was utterly terrifying! Though luckily the plane wasnt damaged and we managed to get back to Glasgow safely which was a huge relief and I am pretty certain and pleased that my feet wont be leaving solid ground again for a while :)
It was sad to say goodbye to Mallorca but really good to get back home :)
