One Hundred and Five.

Day 105

14th April 2012

Woke up in our beautifully secluded hotel room this morning and contrary to the weather forecast the sun was shining! We managed to get a full morning of walking and exploring the moors before the heavens opened in the late afternoon. Thankfully we'd made it to Tavistock covered market by that point so were fully immersed in retail therapy by the time the rain started!

My husband is really into archaeology and stone circles and other remains are frequently visited by our family, I love them too for photographical reasons. I'd read about these particular stone rows before our trip so I knew that they'd be on our agenda. These are at Merrivale. We had such a lovely walk across the moors to them & then climbed 3 tors all before lunch :)

Achey feet by the evening! But nothing that a nice hot bath, a glass of wine and my book didn't fix!

Kids having a marvellous time with Grandparents, Little Lady faring incredibly well considering my absence! Hopefully this bodes well for when I go back to work...
