The Prodigal Son Returns
Well Dash our cat sat on our fence briefly.
Until we had Milo - the dog, we had two cats, Dash and Archibald.
When he moved in, they moved out to a neighbour. We see them occasionally and Dash sometimes comes for a sleepover.
In the afternoon we went to Longstock Water Gardens. The gardens are on the Leckford estate owned by the John Lewis Partnership .
The gardens are open on the first and third Sunday of each month between April - September for a charity - today it was Key Changes - a professional comprehensive music therapy service.
The gardens were breathtaking and I took lots of photos - today's blip was nearly 3 duck bottoms in the air or the mother duck with 12 babies.
If you are in the Stockbridge, Hampshire area, I highly recommend a visit
After the gardens we went to the Longstock Garden Centre for tea and cake provided by a local charity. I had tea and Lemon drizzle cake - it was yummy.
We've also bought a Hawthorne tree for the garden. Planting it will be a job for next weekend
Have a good week everyone
PS Thank you for getting my bollard photo to the Spotlight page
