Green Harvest

On our usual cycle, we were very pleased to witness this field of Oats being harvested. So many fields around us are still to be harvested and this is a lucky farmer to be able to salvage one field, in the two dryest days we've had for a while.

We had a busy , but great weekend. The teenagers away on camp, but today, they returned plus some very muddy and less than pleasant smelling washing.
Its great to have them home and the smell of bread baking in the overworked breadmaker makes up for the washing. A loaf a day keep the hunger away, (well it helps.)

Was lovely to see the sun, will it last till next weekend when we have a whole week off? Cross everything for me.
