In the tree tops

I needed a little break from photography to concentrate on other things.

I could go on and on and on explaining as it's quite a long story but in short:
- personal and work life has been unsettled for the last five years

- efforts to build up confidence in myself and a identify a direction in life was not happening, mainly due to work concerns

- needed to focus on changing work situation

- needed to give more attention to finishing DIY jobs round the house to make it feel more like 'home' (still MASSES to do though)

- needed time out to give myself a ruddy big kick up the ass

Anyway, all is good:

- job at work has been recognised as 'too big' by senior management and is currently being slimmed down so that the job description is more sensible and manageable

- I'm much happier in my 'home'

- Thankful for great support from friends, partner and colleagues

- bruised ass is healing
