Sunset over Southampton

I'm not much of a landscape photographer. It takes a certain eye that's very different from people and objects, but this evening's sunset looked like it was going to be a cracker so as we had 'water' for the daily challenge and 'sunset' for the aprilchallenge, I thought I'd nip down to Southampton Water to make the most of it.

Unfortunately this was as good as it got - I was walking to my favourite spot as they'd closed the car park early. I snapped this en route as I could tell by the clouds coming in the sunset was going to fizzle out. Sure enough, 50 yards walk further on and it was a weak hazy yellow glow!

Took son swimming today, so I'm knackered with a capital 'unfit git' :p
