It was freezing, but sunny today, but an ideal day for an archaeological dig.

Eldest was a guest at a birthday party today that had bouncing, climbing, driving, eating and digging.

Tiddler managed to wangle a surprise invite out to a friends for dinner and tea.

And in an attempt to further return to normality I even managed to cook a proper roast dinner for us all to sit down to. I'm also trying my first attempt at chicken stock in the slow cooker - fingers crossed for tomorrow
