Walk on the Wild Side

Under starters orders...and they're off!!!

We packed up and left the lodge, taken by taxi out of Pokhara and dropped off about an hour away. And finally we were let loose to head up into the mountains...at last!

We walked in glorious sunshine and we went up and up and up to Tolka where we stayed overnight. The sunshine faded and the rain began...wowzers, did it rain. Early monsoon?!?!

God it was good to actually be walking!
As you can tell, Paul was pretty happy too!
