A 5 minute stroll to being in the middle of nowhere! is bliss. 5 minute stroll in the other direction you would end up in the hustle and bustle of town life, market stalls, far too many pubs and eaterys, and lots of empty shells that once was thriving businesses.

Still, its not too bad a place to live.
