Stars in the Wood

Seen mid-cycle ride on the Aldingbourne Country Centre's Woodland Walk. Wooden stars, hearts and abstract shapes hang from the trees at this centre where adults with learning disabilities are helped to fulfil their potential, working on activities such as creative recycling, woodworking and horticulture.

Sunshine & cloud today but a biting wind made it a chilly ride of around 12 miles. Well worth it for the pub lunch in Halnaker though - scrummy Sussex lamb with onion suet bread and all the trimmings. I even managed to nab the recipe for the onion suet bread from the chef on the way out! Almost identical to Mother-in-Law of Mine's recipe for drip pudding - just with added onions and not cooked in lard!
