Olde Burial Ground - Hackettstown NJ

I never realized that this old cemetery existed right in the middle of town on the main street. Origin is 1763, not old by european standards, it contains the remains of the town's original settlers & soldiers killed in The Revolutionary War.

The stone wall (not pictured) that surrounds it was originally constructed in 1812 and restored in 1999, partly by the descendents of those buried here.
