Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya.

We did so much here. Canoe trip meters away from feeding Hippos. A trek meters away again from the animals on foot. Then a 5 hour game drive and back to the country club for dinner and the odd sherry.

Giraffes, Rhino, Zebra, Water Buffalo, Hippos. (Not for dinner I add).
