Kes
As the forecast for this morning was for sunshine, I decided to make a dawn raid up onto the moors. It was bitterly cold - ice and frost, but beautiful. Plenty of grouse, meadow pipits, curlew and lapwing around, and as I was returning to the car, I noticed something perched high in a tree. From a distance, I thought it was probably the usual wood pigeon, but I decided to try and get a little closer and check. I got quite a bit closer and got in a couple of shots before it flew away. This pied wagtail was also very obliging.
