Heron Preening

Another spectacular day weather wise in the Seattle area and another one to record more nesting action on the Heron front. Today's is one that was preening itself and working on a new nest. I dropped Big R and the hooligans off at one dog park entrance while I went on to one closer to the nesting site. This way the dogs also got a longer walk...they won't go along with him if they know I am anywhere close by ha ha. So I waited for them at the nesting site....took pictures and then greeted them all. Cowboy came charging down the path when he saw me...and so did Sadie..much more excited to see me than Big R was ha ha;)
Gotta love them dogs!
