Looking for a snack!!
Friday the 13th no less. Ok so this blip is more about storytelling than it is about good photography. So late at night our birds were going off like a frog in a sock and when we went to see what was the problem.....THIS is what I found. Needless to say I was beside myself as much as our birds were. After ringing numerous snake catchers and finding most of the phones switched off.(it was Friday night after all and everyone know us Queenslanders love Friday night drinks) and one I did get through to only to get in a slurred speach "nah mate I am at the Brisbane Bronco's game......hiccup.. "We finally remembered that our next door neighbour was a farmer and he may be able to help. Soon after he came with some welding gloves on and a hesion bag and picked up the snake put him in the bag and tied it up like he was just picking up a cute little puppy dog.. We were then told that his son collects snakes and that this was a diamond carpet snake and worth $600. Needless to say we told him he could have it for free if he just took it a long long way away from here. I think I can still feel my skin crawl.
