Succulents

I never used to like succulents. I always thought they abounded in retirement homes, deserts, and bowling clubs and were boring. If aliens had ever left a plant species behind - this was it.

Turns out I just wasn't looking close enough - they're actually very cool - beautiful, amazingly subtle colours, shapes and textures. I grow lots now, these are near my front door. My grandmother was right after all!
