The Bike Show

We headed over to Glasgow for the Bike Show today. Beforehand, we had lunch at Tapa, a pretty decent cafe/restaurant. The halloumi open sandwich I had was good but service was a bit slow.

The bike show was ok and my fav bike there was a "recycled" singlespeed made from a 1980's low pro frame. There was some bling but nothing amazing. Rosemary did a 1km TT and hopefully she'll win a prize as she was up with the good male times! Her legs went a wee bit funny afterwards. It was good seeing "The Fox" who managed Midlohian RT back in the day when I rode with them.

The bmx guys were awesome, but one poor guy's chain snapped and he may have broken his leg as a result. Looked painful! Difficult conditions for taking piccies.....fast riders + poor light = high iso and narrow dof!
