Old Friends on a Very Old Bridge

Today was another lovely day spent with 5 old friends from University days! We met up in Cambuslang and after an excellent lunch at Donald and Ruth's house we went to The Robert Burns Centre in Alloway, Aryshire.

It was a very different place from the one I visited as a little girl! The original house still remains and we did visit that and I think for me that was the best part of it! THe huge museum come coffee shop and gift shop was a wonderful enterprise and obviously satisfied customers needs but I did wonder what Rabbie would have made of it all!

It was wonderful to catch up with great friends and a great day out was had by all!
