Out on the moors

This is just the edge of the aptly named Big Moor which stretches away to the left of the picture. The moor covers a lot of ground west of the A621 over to Curbar Edge and Froggatt Edge. Later in the afternoon there was a moderately heavy sleety shower. It looks rather a rather blank on the map but was a great area to stride out on easy footpaths.
