Note to self.....

....if you don't want 'getting the washing dry' to be the highlight of your day, then get school stuff done earlier in the holidays!

Don't get me wrong, I love the fresh smell of washing dried in sun and fresh air, but I really don't want it to be the highlight of my day!

Fact is, I have been putting off stuff I could have done at the beginning of the holiday, rather than letting it all hang over me for so long and then having to sit for hours to get it done.

But I guess that's me.... always work better under pressure!

So, having done most of what needed doing I now feel pleased with myself and hope that there will be sunshine tomorrow...not to do more washing but to get stuck into the garden and maybe even sit out and read a book!

Today is also the first day in 2 weeks when my wisdom tooth - or rather the hole now - hasn't given me discomfort! Hurrah!

Here is to appreciating when pain has gone!!
