The Cloch Lighthouse

My three day break in Troon ended today. It has been such a rest and having a pool to jump into any time has been amazing!

I had driven 20 miles when I realised I had left my phone behind. I struggled to remember how to use a payphone to call the hotel. They had found it thankfully and it meant a return journey to retrieve it.

Instead of dropping off my folks and heading home, this meant I stayed over with them, and had a lovely walk to Lunderston Bay in the chilly spring air. The Cloch Lighthouse is such a lovely building but this shot does it no justice at all - it looks much colder than it really was!! Home early tomorrow to get ready for the wedding on Saturday!
