We were on a ferry to the Statue of Liberty today and I got a good view of the new world trade centre buildings being constructed.

Managed to change the setting on my camera by mistake when I took the photo but I quite like the effect.

It was quite affecting looking back on this view and I couldn't help thinking about what had happened here and the people who lost their lives during the attacks on 9/11.
