Happy Birthday....

....to me!!!! Today is my birthday(well, was, since I'm backblipping). My 49th, to be exact. I have been working on an idea. I've even voiced it. This is MY 365 project. I am going to blip 365 days in a row taking me to my 50th year of life! Wow! I didn't get off to a very good start. I wanted to take AND POST my way everyday to the big FIVE OH. Well, it didn't start out like I wanted but I will go with what I got! I have big plans for this year. BIG plans. I am going to lose 50 pounds before I turn 50. That is pretty big to me! :) I welcome anyone struggling with weight loss to join me. I'm going keep track on my blips. Then, when I hit the end of the year (and my 50th birthday) my gift to myself will be to get this year hardbound as they offer in the blip shop! I will be journaling knowing I will be having this bound so I apologize if I get boring along the way as I write things I want to remember at the end of the year. It is going to be a fun ride and I'm happy to have anyone who wants to follow along!!
To remember this day: It was a wonderful day from beginning to end! I received many texts as I was getting ready for work. When I got to work there was a bouquet of beautiful flowers and a very funny card from all of our employees! Made me smile :) Then, my hubby took me to breakfastlunch at the Pancake Mill. I had a yummy omelet and hashbrowns. We took our time and pretty soon we were the only ones in the sitting section. I said to my husband "Thank you so much for the birthday breakfast". Then I hear "it's your birthday??" That from our waitress. She said "we have to sing!" I said "no you don't" She said "if we sing you get to have strawberry shortcake!" hmmmmmm.....OK!!! I must say, it was one of the best strawberry shortcakes evvverrr! We stopped at the house on the way back to work where there were some cards in the mail, so fun, then back to work where one of the employees who was off came in with her Mom, cupcakes and a beautiful hydrangea. Now it's a party! Oh, and the whole team also got me a bottle of wine! So, the photo you see is some of my treasures from my beautiful day!
