Monkey Tree

Another Wigton photo. Monkey Tree Deli has just moved premisses, from a tiny shop a little way off the high street to a much bigger place (the old bookshop) right next to library. It is big enough for plenty of tables and chairs, and they were in demand today when we popped in for lunch.

I love the whole ethos of this place - locally sourced produce and ingredients where possible, ethical pricing and a personal touch, not to mention the beautiful design of the place. It is no wonder that they were regional winners of Deli Of The Year last year.

Lunch was delicious.
