Village on the hill

I needed the charge up my motorbike battery, so I thought the best way would be to go for a ride out! Any excuse! I rode out to Pateley Bridge then up the valley to Middlesmoor, passing through the picturesque villages of Ramsgill and Lofthouse. Everywhere looked fabulous in the changing light between the hail showers. Fortunately I didn't get too wet, and the ride was very enjoyable! On the return home I called at the gigantic Coldstone Cut sculpture, from which the view is extensive.
