Spied her...

Now I see why there seem to be an abundance of spider blips in the last week. There is an abundance of spiders.

This is one of 3 I found inhabiting my garden. I'm normally no too bad with spiders, I can quite easily pick up and re-locate the common black house spider regardless of size and they do get pretty big in scottish terms.

These suckers however, if they were found invading the house would have to be sorted out with the old paper and glass method. Obviously taking the picture means they're not terror striking me but I certainly are a bit more cautious about them than our usual.
