Narcissus poeticus

This is another of my all time favourite. It's an old variety of narcissus that I know as Pheasant's Eye. It has a variety of other names and is even more poisonous than other narcissi.

We put LH (Little Hedgehog) in the guinea pig hutch in the garden this afternoon. There had been an overnight frost so we were glad she was still inside last night. She is back in the house tonight because we are still nervous about letting her go until the frosts are over, but she is outgrowing her (big) box.

NB I nearly blipped Spirea Bridal Wreath - see 1 year ago. It's gorgeous again.

Otherwise it's been a quiet day in the village.
