Open Beckons

Wally I away to Southampton (again!) on the sleeper last night, so an early rise for me to make the most of a beautiful morning.

Managed a few holes at CPGC before 8am & work - final preparations being made for the big Open competition at the weekend - all looking very good on the course for these visitors ... I hope they appreciate it and respect the condition!

Low sun from the East gives this shot of the Observatory through the fading blossom a nice glow - shadows & all; golf was OK but still some way to go!
