One and a Half Dozen Orchids

I am back, but only just. For the last few weeks and still currently I have been suffering from a problem of trapped nerves in my back, which have caused considerable pain and the loss of proper function of the legs. As a result of this problem I have not had much incentive to take photographs, although I have managed to get at least one photograph everyday, which I have now back blipped. Some of these photos are pretty awful, but the quality tends to reflect how I was feeling at the time so if anyone does not like them, tough.

Today's picture is of two miniature orchid plants carrying between them eighteen orchid flowers, which are all out at the same time at last. I think these look very beautiful and could not resist taking them, although I still cannot be bothered to do more than just snap them, without bothering with flash or any other equipment.

I hope to be able to attend the blip meet at the Botanical Gardens in Cambridge on Sunday, but it depends upon how I feel on the day. In the meantime although I intend to post a picture everyday I am unlikely to make many comments unless I feel particularly good that day.
