George Street - Castle Street

Thomas Chalmers, the mathematician, economist and leader of the Free Church of Scotland is I think honoured with the best view as a statue on George Street, facing south looking at Edinburgh Castle.

Certainly the real tourists beside me were bemused why I risked being run over to capture this image in the wrong direction rather than one of the castle which they were all intent on getting.
