A gaudy little fellow...

I found this very gaudy little grasshopper on some grass growing in the russian sage plant. I didn't know grasshoppers could be so brightly color. The cool part is the very tiny bug I on the other side of the grass stem that I saw when I looked at the photo on the computer.
