Astley Park

Our last day having Grandma here before she flies off back to work so we had a trip to Astley Park. FIJ had her favourite of ducks, sandwich and a biscuit. NCJ slept most of the way round, waking for a quick slurp of milk before drifting off again.

A swan couple were tending to their nest and we got to see the eggs which pleased FIJ. This is the male protecting his babies from some rowdy teenagers who were throwing whole slices of bread in. FIJ wasn't impressed.

No other news to report other than thank God it is Friday. Keeping this brief so I can sit down and eat.
