This little word helps sum our little lady up in so many ways. She's just so bloody brilliant - A, we salute you!

Had a lovely stroll along the water at Cramond this morning, sun shining, not a care in the world. A was chatting away, telling me that when she has money she's going to buy pets - a mouse, a rabbit and a squirrel. We also made birthday cake in the sand and decorated it with shells and sticks. D was with daddy, doing manly things like going round builders merchants, charming everyone he met.

Days like this are just heavenly, worth their weight in gold. Even better when both kids are asleep by 7pm again.
