Day with Cameron
A full day with Cameron started at 9.30 with a quick trip to Tesco for some bits and pieces and then out with his bike and breagha for a long walk.
We went down town to Reid's for lunch, a browse through the charity shop where Cameron picked a one of these get all the balls in the holes thingy,( a difficult one) coffe for me in Nero (where I took this picture) and then we went to the pictures to see The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists great film by the makers of Wallace and Gromit. Loved it, and so did the boy. Grab a child and go see it - or just go on your own, you'll love it. Been ages since I was at the pictures in the afternoon, bit of a shock to the eyes to come out in bright sunlight. When Cameron managed to get all the balls in the holes it had to be transported to his house still intact to show Mummy! So I had to drive very very carefully round corners and no sharp braking (not that I do).
It's great going out with a 7 year old, the chat's great, but you have to be correct in everything you say else it's quickly corrected. Of course at 7 you know everything:-)) Including the name of Queen Victoria (Imelda Staulton voice NOT Imelda Staunton) who reads all the stories on the Julia Donaldson story collection that Cameron has. (He had to read all the credits at the end of the film.
A great day out:-)) Thanks Cambo xx
