Do they know each other? Are they arguing? Is someone selling something?

I have no idea. I just saw them on Market Street in Manchester.

Technical bit, for anyone interested.
Photo taken using an Olympus EPL1 and a Panasonic Lumix G 14mm prime lens, so I had to get quite close to get this. I set the in-camera settings to take JPEG and RAW images, with JPEG settings of mono, to give an idea on the screen what the photo might look like.
