Survey

Everywhere I drive on the Fylde at the moment I keep coming across miles of cable criss crossing the minor roads and joining together the geophones pictured above. It is part of a Geophysical survey being carried out to try and pinpoint more drilling locations for the gas that is lurking under the ground.

Cuadrilla were drilling on the Fylde last year using the controversial Fracking method but they were stopped after it was linked to a number of minor earthquakes that occurred.

I am sure it is only a matter of time before they start up again.
