Tulip claws
Spent the day driving across the uk yesterday, from The Toads on Anglesey back home to Ely.
Decided to go over the mountains on the A5 and make a day of it stopping along the way. Took some shots of snowdonia range. Picniced in Llangollen by the river Dee and the onwards back to the tarmac.
A pit stop in a services of dubious facilities out with Mrs F's iphone and fired up the National Trusts app. 30 mins down the road on our route found Attingham park.
Tea coffee and eckles cake we were fortified and decided just to wander around their walled garden, on the way we passed woodland freerange chickens, a grade II listed bee hive and then in the walled garden they had pigs turning the soil for a new bed (all very cute and nearly blipped) but the show of tulips caught my eye in particular a row that hadn't bloomed yet.
Anyway another few hours of M6 traffic and the neverending A14 a quick nip up the A10 and we were home again collapsing on sofa with pizza.
All in all a long day but we had sunshine till the last 10 miles, found a new place to visit again and got Mrs F home safe.
