Vents at the Maltings, Inverness

Glorious day... at least it was after the early morning downpour stopped. Took the car to work for about the first time in six weeks. It had been a month since I'd used it to go anywhere... the exhaust fractured. Great! Couldn't stop, and fortunately it just rattled over bumps, rather than scrapping along. Less fortunate was the £170 charge to sort it out. A reminder why I don't like cars!

Booked it in for its MOT next week. Dread to think what damage that'll do to the finances. Lets not discuss fuel prices. Life will be quiet for a wee while!
