Surfers

Saturday was a strange day in Aberdeen. the 22 degree sun of the week prior was a vast memory following a week of snow which had hit our small corner of the world, we had for sure had one extreme to another, Saturday was settling into "how things should be!" with crisp 12 degree air and a strong wind.

After a morning of shopping we decided to take advantage of a day with no plans and drive the short distance to the beach on approach we realised how windy it was as we were met with the vision of our normal tame and quiet sea (if not for the odd dog or windsurfer) to see a vast array of Surfers enjoying the swell.

As we watched with glee, wind in our hair it just reminds me of how lucky I am to live in such a wonderful city, it's a small city but it's a great city with beautiful beaches and countryside and 4 seasons in a week, why go anywhere else?!
