All in a day's work.

Today's Blip reflects the culmination of many years work undertaken by myself and my predecessors.

What was once a family home has been left to decay & eventually become uninhabitable. The house has been frequented by drunks & drug users & is now home only to vermin, snakes & friable asbestos (VERY NASTY STUFF). Now after several attempts at resolving this issue, the house is finally coming down!

Today was day one of what will be an awful job for these asbestos removalists. All the soil that is being removed needs to bagged and buried as it has been contaminated. When this is finished, the boys will remove the asbestos from within the house; I don't envy them at all (I had to inspect the house prior to the work; I was not interested in lunch after that experience).
