This guy was so bad. He sounded like he was going through puberty mid-song. Perhaps I am being too cruel but that is what it sounded like.

Long Thursday. Taught my two classes this morning then spent all afternoon reading for tonight's class. My Heidegger instructor sent along a nice article she wrote about the elements of "looking" as defined by Heidegger in Parmenides and how this relates to the life-changing experiences of some major whale-saving folks of Greenpeace have had, people like Captain Watson. This doesn't make sense here, maybe, but I didn't want to forget about my reaction to her piece. She (my instructor) has a gentle soul.

But, now, all is well. Even more so--it (the day) is over and now I am sitting on the couch with Leah, talking about what is up for tomorrow. What is up, first of all, is getting my new brake cable so I can go riding tomorrow. Then the rest of the weekend is reserved for grading. Loved-one laden couches at day's end, I'll tell ya, nothing better. Am I right? I am. Goodnight all of you, my shining friends.
