Fallen Petal

A rose buds, blooms, brings joy and fades.

My friend Anita, lost her 3 year battle with cancer this morning. I don't really have words right now. And though I knew this was coming, the hurt that goes with it you just can't prepare for. Even at the phone call, I wanted it not to be true. But it is. The enviable is right here, right now.

The cool thing is, and I believe this with all my heart, is now she is now whole. She is suffering no more. She is in the presence of her Creator. And I will see her one day again, but this time she will be cancer-free and rejoicing.

I love you Ms. Anita. You were always one of my biggest fans. And you will be missed by those you loved!
