Loch Boffina

This is the only fisherman allowed to fish here without a licence. The lake is regularly restocked with trout so that fishermen can pay for the privilege of fishing them out again. It's a very popular fishing venue and when my sons were younger we'd get a junior licence and they would spend many a happy hour there. It doubles up as the reservoir for Bantry town, and is very close to where I live.
