Bal Breton

I have to back blip all these as our phone and internet have been off for days. And the picture's out of focus anyway.

Bal Breton today- fantastic as it is every year; it was Clegeurec's turn. There was a general sense of more organised dancing this year. Reels were reeling, knees were knocking when they were supposed to. There was a great song about sowing oats then sleeping then skipping round in a giant circle; then watering, scything, threshing, milling, eating, pooing. With sleeping in between each one, which had everyone lying down on the floor snoring until the music started up again. Priceless.

Here is Mattie and Elliot Prince dancing with Luna and Maelline. Nell came too but was teething and off-form, but everyone enjoyed stroking her nonetheless. And we did a couple of circle dances anyway, she sat in the sling and took it all in. Matthew got very cross when his group did the wrong steps, but we survived the last day of term.
