Great spotted woodpecker

We took my daughter and son-in-law to Loch of the Lowes to see the osprey. The osprey were there all right, and a couple of great crested grebe. For me the highlight was this great spotted woodpecker, seen in the feeding area beside the visitor centre. Somehow I've always been looking the other way before when a woodpecker was about.
