It is that time of year again, the time for people to dust off their civic duties and to think about the importance of elections. Well not just yet, but today I had the training session for helping at the polling station in just three week's time.

I think on balance, I prefer this one, I could have actually started going further down intop the depths of the city chambers but scared that I would not get out and more to the point the powers that be might have not appreciated my desire to take a photo.

Otherwise it was back to reality and normality. The sun even came out for a brief period but it was a rather nippy
