Fritillary
I don't know very much about Wildflowers but when I spotted these I knew they were Fritillaries.
In a wee place called Ducklington in Oxfordshire there is a wildflower meadow where the Snake's Head Fritillary grows. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Each year for one day only the meadow is open to the public.
